Everyone has enjoyed a love affair with ice cream, but ice cream hasn’t always loved you back, has it! Having the skill to make your own dairy-free ice cream is very valuable and you can whip up mouth-watering simple creations or get as alchemical as you desire.
This is a super simple & easy recipe and one that will be enjoyed by moms & their young ones, as well as health-adoring adults. Instead of grabbing the refined sugar and pasteurized milk-laden ice cream cartons from the grocery store, take just 3 minutes to make your own. Eating the right food is your health insurance!
I encourage you to pick your own blackberries if you can since the more wild food we have in our diet, the more nourished we are and the closer to are to our most natural diet.
Blackberry Dairy-Free Ice Cream w/ Chocolate Nib Chips
* 3-4 organic ripe bananas
* 1/2 cup frozen organic and/or wild blackberries
* 1 teaspoon organic raw chocolate and/or carob powder
* sprinkle organic cinnamon powder
Process all ingredients in a food processor until well blended. There may be some blackberry seeds remaining – process a bit longer or be OK with the seeds. Spoon into a bowl & top with raw cacao nibs for a crunchy topping over a creamy vegan ice cream!
* 1-2 pitted dates (if you want candy-like chewy caramel bites in the ice cream)
Love how easy this recipe is… love how enjoyable berries and raw chocolate are together… love that you have the choice to make your own dessert… love yourself while you eat it… love that it’s a beautiful non-traditional ice cream that will serve you well!
