The Greatest Misconceptions About Superfoods

In response to and as a continuation of the video interview that I did w/ Shea Lynn Baird (there was so much more to say than we had time for!), I wanted to address some misconceptions about raw Superfoods. The greatest myth is, that everyone who promotes Superfoods makes big bucks doing so, and that this is their motive, sole intention, and driving purpose. I do not believe this to be the case. Sure, some people in the raw food community have made $$ advocating Superfoods, but not everyone has or wants to and it’s a big generalization to assume so. I think we should promote things/foods/products that have made a clear difference in our lives and that have greatly improved our health. Read more

A few weeks ago I was interviewed about my favorite topic ever: Superfoods. Shea Lynn Baird, the lovely raw goddess who coordinates the Monday Night Live Gratitude events at Cafe Gratitude at the Healdsburg location, came to my place on Mt Tamalpais and shot a cool video of us chattin’ it up about the best foods ever.
