Is Your Success Your Deepest Fear?

I am a huge fan of Philosopher’s Notes and came across this amazing quote in the latest free inspirational newsletter and felt it was really worth passing on to you. I can totally relate to this especially after some deep introspection work I did this past weekend at T Harv Eker’s Millionaire Mind 3 day Intensive. I’ll share some of my own personal insights from this remarkable seminar as well as the critical information that will allow those of us who choose to have financial freedom to have it, without the expected struggle.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn’t serve the world. There’s nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

Note: This is often, and mistakenly, believed to be from Nelson Mandela’s inauguration speech. It’s not. It’s from Marianne Williamson’s book, A Return to Love (page 191) if you don’t believe me. – I’m quoting this directly from the email sent by Brian Johnson of Philosopher’s Notes.
